Wishing you a prosperous summer solstice!

Balancing busy-ness and staying grounded

It’s Summer Solstice 🙌🏼 and I enjoy the feeling of “make the most of it”. But I also keep noticing how easy it is – in all the enthusiasm that comes with the summer weather – to get a bit overcommitted.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been finding that the real challenge is holding space for what matters most, even when there’s lots of energy and activity around, sometimes the precious and most valuable moments can get squeezed. For me, it’s involved boundarying family time fierecley, and seeking purposeful social interactions in the face of a plethora of possibilities. It has also meant celebrating the ripple effects of our Woodlines Revisited retreat, taking time to stop and think, and ring-fencing time for planning ahead with intention. Which brings me on to….

🌿 What’s Coming Up

I’m genuinely excited about the mix of work I have in the diary:

  • A Wellbeing training day for GPs in Swindon
  • Team Away Days and Retreat-style Workshops for a mix of healthcare and education professionals across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire
  • Finalising preparations for our July 18th Outdoor Retreat, our October 10th Recharge Retreat and the September Residential Retreat for Doctors
  • Opening two new 1:1 coaching slots from August — for people looking for dedicated space to reflect and refocus
